Today marks the 75th Anniversary of VE Day.
Year 5 are finding out how VE Day is celebrated today and 75 years ago in our World. VE Day marks 75 years since Winston Churchill announced WW2 had ended. Events taking place all day but public gatherings have all been cancelled.Can you find anymore local or world history memories of VE Day, from your family, grandparents or even great grandparents photographs as you stay at home on 8th May 2020?
Year 5 look forward to sharing more of all our VE Day history and pictures and photographs, so please keep sending in your different posters and photographs to your child’s’ teacher next week, so you can see your friends from school busy learning at home.
