Miss Mulholland’s Class18 May 2020 (by Class Teacher (teacher)) |
Take a look at how busy we are in Miss Mulholland’s class learning at home! We have been working hard on our term 3 topic, ‘Impact’. In art, we studied Henri Rousseau’s famous painting, ‘Surprised Tiger’ or ‘Tiger in a Tropical Storm’ and some of us emulated his style to create our own rainforest image whilst others recreated his painting in their own style using a variety of mediums. As part of our world around us learning, we designed our own rainforest animal and labelled its features, explaining why it has these features. Also, we have been staying fit and healthy by doing PE every week too. Last week, we participated in the first week of the virtual sports day, practising for the sprint and long jump events. Some of us in the class have been creative and finding other ways of keeping fit with our families too, for example, using Just Dance on the Wii! Keep up the great work 5AM!
