Miss Mulholland’s Class- Weekly Update 26th May 202026 May 2020 (by Class Teacher (teacher)) |
We have had another busy week of learning at home in 5AM. We have completed a variety of literacy activities, learning about syllables and nouns, developing our reading comprehension and writing a description of a rainforest animal. In mathematics, our topic was shape. We learned about triangles and quadrilaterals including parallelograms, rhombuses, trapeziums and kites. In addition, we also completed AR and tasks set on Mathletics. Furthermore, in our topic ‘Impact’, we learned about how animals are adapted to their rainforest habitat and enjoyed drawing our favourite rainforest animal. We explored sounds in music, and in PDMU we learned about listening and played some listening games. Also, in RE, we continued our learning about Pentecost. We are continuing to keep fit and healthy preparing for the Virtual Sports Day in a couple of weeks. Some of the children even found time to bake and to go for nature walks.
Many thanks to the children for their continued effort with learning at home each week and to the parents for their continued support.
