5AM have had a busy week of activities learning at home including learning about words ending in ‘ive’, adverbs, rainforest layers and survival, how together we can take care of the earth, multiplication and even solving problems. Also, we read two rainforest stories: ‘Manny the Manatee’ and ‘Clara the Armadillo’ and then we wrote and illustrated our own. In addition, we completed our weekly AR quizzes and tasks set on Mathletics to earn house points. We even had time to do a science experiment ‘balancing a dragonfly’, compose some music using everyday sounds and we have been practising the welly boot toss in preparation for the Virtual Sports Day. What a busy week!
