2KH have been exploring outdoors, growing their own plants and listening to the sounds of nature. They read the story of Hansel and Gretel, baked gingerbread and learned about tableaux. Year 2 considered how Jonah didn’t listen to God and wouldn’t follow His instructions so they tried a fun, but challenging, instruction game. They have been studying 2D and 3D shapes all around them and considered the /ow/ spelling for the long o sound.
