Mrs Murphy’s Class Home Learning

1 June 2020 (by Class Teacher (teacher))

Weekly Update 5JM 1st June2020.

Mrs Murphy’s  Class have had another very busy week, working really hard with all their different Home Learning activities. Daily Literacy spelling patterns and meanings of “ive” solving multiplication written formal word problems, completing Mathletics and AR reading quizzes. For our Yesr 5 World Around Us topic “Impact” we have been researching, writing using bubble map frames, and using ICT to write in interesting detail about Rainforest animals and how we can protect them in their habitat. We have also been practising for the Virtual Sports Day with Wellington throwing and races. How to protect and care for our environment is one of Eco- Schools Home Challenges and some of our class have been doing their research on how to protect the Rainforest Toucan to solving food waste in our local community. We have had fun baking at home, this also is evidence for another Eco- Schools Home Challenge.

Thank you to everyone for your support with Remote Home Learning.

Pleae keep sending in your photographs, it is great to see all your work and fun activities at home.

Many thanks,Mrs Murphy.
