Mr Strickland’s Class – Weekly Update 22nd June 202022 June 2020 (by Class Teacher (teacher)) |
6TS had yet another busy and productive week completing their final Home Learning activities.
In Numeracy, we developed our skills of division using the formal written method and in Literacy we learned that some words can be used as nouns and verbs! We also reflected on the exciting, yet unpredictable time we have had in school this year and created magnificent mood boards to record our most favourite memories from Year 6.
Thank you to both pupils and parents for the amazing effort that has been made with Home Learning. Your ability to quickly adapt to a new learning environment and determination to continue learning has been inspirational. Thank you for every Seesaw post you have made to keep me updated with your progress. It has been wonderful to see the excellent learning you have been doing at home, from both your Home Learning packs and the extra-curricular activities you have completed with your families.
School didn’t end the way we thought it would this year, but hopefully I will have a chance to say goodbye to the boys and girls of 6TS at our drive by on Monday, 29th June! Please see our school app for the ‘Drive By – Good Bye’ timetable.
