What a fantastic final week! In Literacy we learnt the air spelling, we generated questions to ask a book character, revised contractions, wrote a new page to go in the Superworm story and decided whether some statements were facts or opinions.
In Numeracy, we revised counting in 5s and 10s, found fractions of shapes and numbers, found some fractions of objects at home and completed a very tricky problem solving challenge!
We also found out lots about eating insects, followed instructions to create a picture, made symmetrical butterflies, did yoga to the story of The Hungry Caterpillar, listened to Flight of the Bumblebee, learnt about the 10 commandments and finally revised different ways to look after yourself.
Thank you to everyone who has sent me work. It has been wonderful to see what you have achieved over the last few months. I hope to see as many of you as possible at the ‘Drive By- Good Bye’ on Thursday. See the app for time details. Thank you again Year 4.
