The School Nursing team will be visiting our School on 13th October 2020 to administer the Flu Vaccine.
Letters from the school nurse explaining about the Vaccine will be coming home shortly, they would be grateful if they can be returned to school ASAP. A member of the nursing team will be collecting forms from school on the 24th September. Any child who's form has not been signed and returned prior to the vaccination date cannot be offered the vaccine in school. Parents of these children can contact their GP surgery to arrange for the vaccine to be given separately.
For medical reasons a very small number of children will not be able to receive the Fluenz Tetra (nasal spray) vaccine in school, these children will be given a different flu vaccine by injection instead.
