Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School

The Year 6 topic for this term is called ‘It’s a Disaster.’ We learned about the difference between natural and man-made disasters and were able to sort them into groups. Additionally, we looked in more detail at the different types of natural disasters and carried out some independent research to create a fact file on a natural disaster of our choice. We studied the artwork of J M W Turner and created our own disaster artwork using a range of mediums. Also during this term, we designed a survival kit of what we thought would be required in case of a natural disaster. We hope you enjoy looking at our highlights.
