4CH Celebrate Science Week15 March 2021 (by ckane791) |
Mrs Handforth's class had lots of fun last week celebrating Science Week!
We took part in the 'What's Under Your Feet?' challenge, explored outdoors for signs of spring, learned about how rainbows are made and then created rainbows of our own!
We also thought about different sources of light and made decisions about which was the odd one out from a list provided.
Later in the week we learned about chromatography and experimented with colours to find out how they were made.
Continuing our learning about colour, we created our own pigments and made paint! Some of us even used the pigments to create our own art work!
At the end of the week we experimented with an illusion using water and pictures or words on paper.
Take a look at all the fun activities we took part in by watching the video linked below.
