Mrs Murphy's class investigated Spinning Science activities during Science Week. Take a look at their special, fun Science Week 2021.
During Science Week 2021, Year 5 participated in a variety of activities. Helicopter and aeroplane investigations, practical experiments to complete at home and in school were demonstrated through interesting Primary Science Teaching Trust (PSTT) Science at Home and Linked Challenge resources and videos. The children designed and tested their helicopters, aeroplanes and paper gliders to find the best prototype design and had the opportunity of being Science Designers, just like the famous N.I. Inventors Harry Ferguson Sir James Martin which the class have been researching as part of their term 2 Year 5 "Flying High" topic. Posters for the Science Week Competition were also completed to showcase an "Awesome Inventor!"
Year 5 enjoyed being Young Innovators of the Future during Science Week 2021.
