At the end of term we were sorry to say goodbye to Mrs Simmons.
Mrs Simmons has been a much valued member of staff within our school. She joined our school in September 2016 and worked alongside one of our classes during their journey from Year 1 through to Year 5.
Mrs Simmons as well as her school position works closely with the National Deaf Children’s Society and was recently offered the position of Advice and Guidance Officer for Families with Newly Diagnosed Deaf Children. This is a wonderful opportunity for Mrs Simmons and we know she will be excellent in the role. We are very proud of Mrs Simmons and happy for her but we will all very much miss Mrs Simmons within our school.
