School Garden variety of vegetables start of new Term 1

It has been wonderful to return to the start of another new academic year at Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School and to see the vegetables still growing, which had been planted by the pupils and Eco-Schools Committee last term. Such a variety of fresh school grown vegetables, ranging from carrots, onions, peas, broad beans to the more exotic varieties of cucumber, broccoli and Jerusalem artichokes!

The Eco-Schools Committee, pupils, staff and non-teaching staff are looking forward to harvesting and tasting the fresh grown school produce, most of which are ready for harvesting in our wooden beds in our school grounds.

Have a look at the variety of fresh vegetables in our School Garden!

Many thanks,

Mrs Murphy,

Eco-Schools Leader.
