Great news! The BBC Northern Ireland’s School Soloist of the Year 2022 has now opened the submissions website.
This is a solo vocal competition and a tremendous opportunity to showcase some of the amazing young talent In Northern Ireland. The competition is open for Year 5 to Year 7 pupils. As a school we can submit three entries. Anyone wishing to be considered for this should provide piano accompaniments for two contrasting songs, lasting a combined time of six minutes maximum. The piano accompaniment should be sent to Mrs Carson on Friday 15th October 2021 at 2pm. Recording of successful pupils will take in school during week beginning 18th October 2021 in order to be forwarded to the BBC.
