Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School

A highlight of our school year is always our Open Night. Unfortunately, over the last few years due to Covid, we have been unable to have our traditional evening of showcasing our school to new families.

We want to do everything we can to keep our school community as safe as possible and enable everyone to have a lovely Christmas with their family and friends. In keeping with this we have decided to make a virtual tour of the school building to help give new families a greater insight to school life. When we come back to school in January, we can then review and hopefully organise an Open Day or arrange appointments for new families to visit our school. 

I have contacted a company and they can come to complete the filming on Friday 3rd December.  In the morning they will record different activities involving the pupils.  In the afternoon once pupils go home we give the building a quick tidy and clean and will then organise the filming to create the virtual tour around the school.  To help with the organisation of this, pupils will finish school earlier on Friday 3rd December as follows:-

1.15pm - Year 1-3 pupils and their Y4-7 siblings 

1.30pm - remaining Year 4-7 pupils (to enable the 1.15pm parents/carers time to leave, we ask parents/carers of the remaining Y4-7 pupils to not arrive before 1.20pm)

Hopefully, everyone will work together to enable the home time collection to go smoothly.
