Ballymoney Model Integrated Primary School

I was both shocked and disappointed to learn yesterday afternoon that the EA have decided that the school does not reach their criteria for a School Crossing Patrol at the North Road crossing.  Prior to yesterday, I had been led to believe that they were working on advertising and recruiting for the position, although I was baffled why it was taking so long! 

On learning this information, I spoke to EA Transport and expressed my disappointment and worries in relation to an accident occurring.  I also contacted Councillor John Finlay, who had offered to help when I had asked councillors for their support in resolving this matter at half term.

Parent/Carers I now need your help, I could create an online form for you to add your thoughts on this important matter to, but I think a more effective solution is to ask you to take a few minutes from your busy day to send a short email to EA Transport on your disappointment of no School Crossing Patrol being currently in place and the need for this to be addressed asap.
