Dear Parents/Carers
We have a number of pupils, parents and staff unwell within our school community. To cover staff vacancies we are doing all we can. Within school we use NISTR (NI Substitute Teacher Register) to find sub teachers to cover teacher absences. Today we have managed to source five sub teachers and this has enabled all classes to be in school. At present we haven’t found enough sub teachers to cover all classes on Thursday and Friday. In relation to Thursday we have contacted over seventy sub teachers, but so far we still have not all classes covered. At present it is looking that Year 3 will be taught through remote learning on Thursday. We will continue to look for sub teachers for Thursday and make the final decision at 2pm whether Year 3 will be in school or not. We hope everyone in our school community that is unwell, gets better soon.
