Today during outdoor learning, we were excited that the snow had created an extra fun learning environment for us to learn in.
The children worked in teams to create shelters, practise their high frequency words, build snowman of all different shapes and sizes, create some lovely food dishes, visit the shop, increase their mathematical thinking through measure and capacity, experiment with the snow melting and most of all have fun! We love outdoor learning in Year 2, ESPECIALLY in the snow.
