In Year 2, this week, we have been covering all of the ‘a’ sounds and how they can be spelt differently.
We learned about the different ways that we could make our ‘a’ sound words, then we went off in our pairs to make as many words as we could to relay back to the whole class. Finally, we consolidated with a really fun phonic sounds board game!
We all really enjoyed the practical elements of the lesson and everyone did an amazing job. Well done Year 2!
