This week, in Year 2, we have been learning all about syllables! We discovered that there are 3 main ways to work out how many syllables a word has, which includes, ‘clapping it out’, putting on a robot voice and counting how many times we opened our mouths when saying a word. We then enjoyed our cut and stick activity and finally we had to ‘buddy up’ in our pairs to write, or draw, our own syllable tables on our whiteboards. Amazing job Year 2!
