What a Numeracy lesson we had today. Our focus this week has been measurement. We used different items such as; lollipop sticks, cubes, shapes, sponges and pin boards. First, we predicted which group would construct the biggest/smallest rocket. Then, we got to work, working in our groups to make the rocket. When the timer stopped we did a peeping walk around the room to see if our predictions were right. We developed our thinking skills and personal capabilities throughout this lesson. Well done, Year 2!
