In Year 2, we put our creative minds to work and we were amazing!
There were a number of stations set up, including a numeracy spot, where we had to use tweezers to pick up the number of objects displayed on our chalk boards which lead to counting in 5s, 10s and so much more, a High Frequency Word station where we had to find the letters to match the words, a music station where we made different woodland sounds with different junk materials, a creative area where there were all kinds of dishes that were made, including ‘Gruffalo crumble’, Owl ice cream’ and ‘Scrambled snake’ and finally, we also recreated our favourite ‘Into the woods’ story scenes from some of the books we have read together!
We had so much fun and there is a lot more to come. Well done Year 2
