7TS had lots of fun celebrating Science Week. We watched a video called ‘Life Cycles Live’ by Encounter Edu which taught us about the life process of some common farm animals. We took part in a science experiment in relation to our current topic, ‘Unsinkable’, to identify the changes that occur to a substance by analysing the appearance of an iceberg over the period of our school morning! In numeracy, we measured our heights and calculated our age in months and plotted this data onto graph paper in an effort to determine if height is a good measure of pupils’ ages in the class. We have also loved playing ‘Zoom in, Zoom out’ on Explorify!
