Today Mr McLean and Mr Johnston’s Class, leapt into our school forest to begin our new Topic ‘Once upon a time’, where we explored the Giants castle from Jack and the Beanstalk, consolidated on our writing by creating wanted posters for the thief who broke into the castle, utilised our ICT skills on our iPads creating fairytale characters and we even dressed up as them for our role play too!Then, we put our building skills to the test as we built Jacks house and the Giants castle and we even found our own abandoned castle in the forest.
As our outdoor learning came to a close we shared the story of Jaspers Beanstalk with the children. We are excited for our next outdoor adventure!
