This week Year 2 have been enjoying Play-Based Learning through our new topic ‘Once upon a Time’. They created Jacks cottage in our role play area acting out each of the characters from Jack and the Beanstalk. The also built a Beanstalk, practised the story of eight, wrote letters to help the Giant find the thief that stole from his castle, read some fairy tale books, measured different items predicting measurements with no standard units of measurement and development all of their skills through each area of the curriculum . What a fantastic start to our new topic Year 2! Keep up the great work!
