Literacy in Year 2 this week has been super exciting. We received a letter from the Giant, he had went on holidays and needed us to look after his castle. He also had suspicions that some had been stealing from his castle. Year 2’s job was to create wanted posters of the suspects that might be stealing from him. I have to say Year 2 created fantastic wanted posters for the Giant, using all of the words and sounds that they have covered in their Literacy lessons throughout the year.
You will never guess what happened next!! The Giant hid Jelly Beans under the Children’s seats as a thank you for all of their hard work. What a lovely way to reward the children for all their hard work! We love to let our imaginations run wild in Year 2.
