How do we write a story in Year 1? Have a look at some of the story writing in Year 1AH today. We listened to the story ‘A squash and a squeeze’. We then helped Miss Hemphill to create a bubble map using our phonics and high frequency words. We told Miss Hemphill what to write in her sentences. Finally, it was down to the hard work of writing our own sentences. We have been working hard on our finger spaces in Year 1.
