In Literacy, 7TS identified the features of a balanced written argument. We read a balanced argument called ‘Should Children Be Allowed to Own Pets?’ and used markers to highlight and label the key features. Afterwards we drew a table in our Writer’s Notebooks and recorded the reasons for and against owning a pet.
