Maths Week 2022
Year One pupils were so excited to take mathematics and numeracy activities outside to celebrate Maths Week 2022.
Pupils developed and consolidated so many skills in a fun way!
They sorted shapes while developing the language of texture, used appropriate mathematical language in relation to length and capacity, developed recognition of numicon tiles and touch counted, recognised numerals and shapes while playing hopscotch and developed independent formation of numerals one to four. What a fun morning Year One had!
