To celebrate Maths Week Miss Hemphill's Year 1 class took their numeracy skills outside. We sorted 2D shapes and played 2D shape hopscotch. We used our language of capacity in the water tray. We made sets using Pom poms and wrote our numbers in chalk. We used the large numicon to count and ordered the tiles. What a super bunch of mathematicians we have in Year 1!
