The School Council met with Suzanne from Cancer Fund For Children this afternoon.
They presented her with a cheque for £165.50.
Suzanne told us a little bit about where this money would go and how it would help children in Northern Ireland with cancer.
It will be used to fund short holidays for families, to pay fuel costs for travelling to hospital for treatment, to provide art and craft activities for chidren. We learnt that when children are receiving treatment they can’t go to school.
We enjoyed our time with Suzanne and thanked her for coming.
