November Whole School Assembly9 November 2018 (by J Jamison (kjamison)) |
We had a busy whole school assembly on the afternoon of Wednesday 7th November.
Our school value for the month of October was Kindness and at assembly our Kindness Awards were presented. Thank you to our parents for their kindness in sending in items for the Harvest Collection and Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
Our School Councillors chose the October Smart Uniform Winners and we celebrated November birthdays.
Within our assembly we also highlighted Year 7 pupil James Green's recent success at the Swim Ulster Schools Gala. James got through to the finals for both the 50m breaststroke and 100m individual medley. He finished in silver position for both events. With his impressive times he is comfortably within this year's qualifying times for the school nationals which will taking place in Dublin in February.
The class attendance award was presented to Mr Love's class for the highest attendance of 98.8%.
