Miss Kane's class have been busy making, testing and evaluating their own propellor boat designs.
As part of our World Around Us topic this term, 'Unsinkable', 7RK have been learning about the Titanic. We discussed the different types of energy that can be used to power boats. Then we used this knowledge to design, test and evaluate our own boats using only a piece of plastic, a rubber band and a pair of scissors. We enjoyed using our problem solving skills and creativity to design and decorate our boats. We measured how far each boat travelled and recorded the results in a table. Finally, we created some bar graphs to present our data.
