Mrs Murphy's class investigated " What's Under Your Feet?" for Science Week.
5JM participated in the whole school " What's Under Your Feet?" survey. The pupils dug up a soil pod to investigate and identify the different soil invertebrates, living under our feet in our school grounds. The soil was carefully sifted and we found earthworms, centipides and millipeds. After completing the survey, which contributes to the British Trust for Ornithology, we carefully replaced the soil pod. We will be carrying out more surveys during this year to investigate the Biodiversity of wildlife in our school grounds.
