Both P7 classes came together to learn important life saving skills.
Last week Primary 7 had the opportunity to complete Heartstart Training. The course teaches important skills such as how to assess a situation, how to put an unconscious but breathing casualty into the recovery position and how to deliver CPR to a casualty who is not breathing. We really enjoyed working together to learn and practise using the recovery position and later t use some of our dummies to practise CPR chest compressions. It was a great learning experience for everyone involved.
