Play Based Learning
This week Year One have been doing lots of fun things in Play Based Leaning. We have been thinking about nocturnal animals and also animals that hibernate. During play we have been making owls using play doh, drawing an illustration for a book, creating a hibernation nest for a hedgehog, and making owls using a variety of materials. Also we set up a vetinary surgery where people could bring animals that had been injured in the dark mornings or dark evenings. Everyone played a Interactive Whiteboard game where we had to count the spots on the ladybird.
