Learning About Birds in Miss Mulholland’s Class28 January 2020 (by Class Teacher (teacher)) |
Last week, we had an officer from the RSPB, Joanne Mulholland, come into school to teach us about birds as part of our topic, ‘Flying High’. We learnt which birds are native to Northern Ireland and how to identify them from their appearance and sound. After that, we went out into the school grounds and did some birdwatching using binoculars. We enjoyed this so much, we forgot to take photos!
