Year 6 had an excellent time today visiting Stormont. They got to see first-hand where our government sits and what the role of an MLA involves. Mervyn Storey, one of the North Antrim MLAs, spent a lot of time with Year 6 answering questions and talking about his job. We were very grateful to him as well for introducing us to the Education Minister, Peter Weir. Who knows, we might have some budding MLAs of the future in Year 6!
